This project was for a young adult with cerebral palsy and involved extensively remodelling and extending the house to form a new accessible bedroom and bathroom as well as carer’s accommodation.
The most challenging aspect of this project was the ground conditions, the foundations needed piling and we had to move some very large drains that were running across the site.
The bedroom and bathroom was a triumph and we also formed a new physio room and an open plan living/dining and kitchen space. We don’t do many projects with a lift but this one had a very fancy lift with a wall sized image of Disneyland on it!
